What Are You “Fit Flustered” About?

Everyone has some fitness issue or concern that they’re frustrated or flustered about.  It can be anything from trying to lose those last five pounds, to “I work out three times a week and I don’t seem to be losing the weight”. What are you “fit flustered about”? 



  1. Love the blog and newsletter! Can you give some advice on healthy, high energy foods that I can “grab on the go” after a workout. I find that I delay eating after a workout only to over eat later.

    • Hi Sara,

      Thank you. That’s a great question and one that many people are curious about as well. First, it’s very important to refuel your muscles within an hour after your workout with simple carbs mixed with protein.

      If there’s no time to take in a protein shake or a Muscle Milk then I recommend yogurt with granola for example. If that doesn’t work, you might want to try a bar with with a good balance of protein to carbs. One example of a bar that I like (and I have a couple) is “Think Thin” (Brownie Crunch) flavor (yummy). It has 20g of protein, 27g of carbs, 0g of sugar and is gluten free. I hope this helps. Good Luck, Jaena “The Traina” 🙂
