Hot Topic-Make Every Move Count!!!

Here’s something that I’m fit flustered about. I can’t tell you how often I see someone working out and they’re either riding the bike while riding at a very slow pace and reading a book or the paper or walking on the treadmill and doing the same. I also don’t understand how a person is working out on the machines and reading the newspaper in between sets while not being willing to share the equipment (which is improper gym etiquette by the way). Now don’t get me wrong, I love to read and need to get it in when I can but if my main purpose is to get in shape, lose weight, etc. and I’m at the gym then I am not being very productive. As a client so eloquently stated to me,” make every move count.  Don’t just go through the motions. Put everything into the movement”. Don’t disassociate yourself from your workout. You’re there for your fitness needs. You’ll see better results, faster results. Please share your thoughts on this. 🙂
